Set in one of the South Island's oldest historic hotels, these casual evenings allow a creative exchange of poetry, prose and acoustic music. Members of the audience read from their own work and/or share topical or favourite poems from both international and NZ poets. Occasionally there are guest poets or topics to ponder. The informal atmosphere provides for both new and experienced writers, and a diverse range of genres. An entertaining night whether you come along to read or simply listen.
